Independent Living Skills services focuses on teaching and providing the tools to live your life as independent as possible within your home. We learn how you learn and provide you with different ways of being able to complete tasks without the feeling of being impossible. With Assurance Family Services individual’s choices, abilities and preferences will be respected and supported.

One of the main components of ILS is to teach you how to clean your home your way! We understand everyone learns different and we are here to teach you different ways to learn.

Self-care is an important skill to learn and implement in your life. We want to make sure you feel fulfilled and believe in the best of yourself.

Self-advocacy
We are here to teach you how to advocate for yourself, know your rights and make sure you always receive quality services.

Community Participation
Knowing your community and being able to explore on your own, is an important part of being independent. We will focus on teaching you safety, routes and navigating your own community by real life scenarios.
